You can connect from any device: computer, tablet or mobile. There are two ways to connect to your Edge, connecting directly to the Edge or connecting through the office network Method 1: Connecting directly to the Edge 1. You’ll want to choose the wireless network that starts with SMARTmirror_xxxx 2. Then Enter the password that appears on the bottom of the device 3. Once connected, open your browser and enter 10.42.3.1 into the address bar and hit enter 4. The user interface will then open TIP: For easy access in the future add this page to favorites in your browser Method 2: Connecting from a device on your office network 1. Open a brower and place the following address into the address bar: ai.smartmirror.dental/edges.html 2. Then log in using your SmartMirror credentials 3. Once logged in, you will see a list of all active Edges connected to your office network and their IP addresses. 4. Either click on the address of the Edge you want to connect to… 5. Or click on the "copy URL" icon next to the address and paste it into the address bar. 6. The interface window will then open. SmartMirror Consists of Two Parts: 1. Head 2. Streamer To turn on the mirror gently slide the Streamer into the mirror Head. *Please note that the flat end of the Streamer should be facing the back side of the Head. Once the mirror has been turned on it will connect to the Edge. While connecting, the top 3 LEDs will flash; once connected, the lights will turn on. After the mirror is connected the system will update the battery status, and now treatment can begin! You will be asked to insert the mirror into the patient's mouth. Once the mirror detects it's inside the mouth the LEDs will automatically adjust their brightness. As long as the mirror is inside the mouth the mirror is ready for voice commands and the treatment can be documented using the Miri language. Once the mirror has been removed from the mouth the lights will dim. To disconnect the mirror, gently separate the Streamer from the Head. The mirror will then turn off.
